Abstract
In the article the basic principles of architectural and spatial environment of the Vladivostok State
University of Economics and Service (VSUES) formation are described. The author shows how to create a
modern campus with well-developed infrastructure which enhances the competitiveness of the university. By
organizing the educational spaces we use such architectural and planning solutions that corresponds to the
principles of educational trajectories focused on practice oriented education and variability. The article
reflects the experience of effective development of residential and recreational areas on campus.

Abstract
This article devoted to the examination of principles for architectural formation of modern university
complexes (particularly from USA, Europe and Asia). This formation uses the campus strategies in many
examples. By the analysis of the university campuses (from the top of the world campus lists) we form the
characteristics of the comfort architectural environment and urban development strategy for the university
space. Historical and modern principles of these strategies would be useful for the research and educational
activities. For the conclusions we formulate principles of new objects for modern education technologies
