Federal university and classic university education
Abstract
The characteristics and location of the classical university education in the Russian system of higher
education are discussed. I emphasize the need to maintain classical approach in the process of establishing
federal universities. The approach will allow achieving the strategic mission of these institutions: the formation
and development of competitive human capital. We also offer some of the arrangements for the successful
development of the classical university education in the federal universities
