UNIVERSITY SOCIAL REPORTING

Abstract

Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service was the first Russian university to issue social
report as an appropriate result of implementation of university strategy, aimed to social usefulness. Author
considers social report as an important tool of strengthening strategic partnership between university and
stakeholders, as well as assurance of university activity quality and transparency.
On the bases of analysis of international social reporting standards and foreign universities experience in
social reporting preparation, the criteria and key figures, used by VSUES in the process of its social report
preparation, are covered by the article.
