Developing mechanisms of student recrutment from asean countries

Abstract

To recruit a larger number of international students and to implement tasks set on the national level, universities are interested in the development of new countries and regions along with the establishment of bilateral and multilateral partnerships with their educational organizations. Hence, special interest is allocated to ASEAN countries that are under the process of building a common educational environment contributing to the increase of education quality of their nations. This article deals with integration processes taking place in ASEAN countries, international models of ASEAN student recruitment, as well as offers recommendations on efforts needed on state and institutional levels to forward flow of ASEAN students to the Russian Federation.
