Студенческая вовлеченность как инструмент оценки качества образования в российских университетах

Статья посвящена описанию опыта использования подхода по измерению студенческой вовлеченности (student engagement), разработанного на основе идей А. Астина, Р. Пэйса, Дж. Куха, П. Эвелла, Э. Паскарелла и П. Теренцини, в российских вузах для оценки качества высшего образования. Данный подход начал применяться в американской системе высшего образования с конца XX в. В силу относительной дешевизны и простоты реализации, а также возможности выработки конкретных эффективных рекомендаций для совершенствования образовательного процесса, в первое десятилетие XXI в. данный подход стал использоваться в других странах как отдельными университетами, так и в национальном масштабе. Однако его применимость в образовательных контекстах, отличных от американской системы высшего образования, до сих пор вызывает вопросы. В статье представлены базовые предпосылки данного подхода, история его развития и распространения в мире, а также границы применимости для оценки качества высшего образования. Особое внимание уделено опыту использования подхода в российских вузах и его ограничениям в силу особенностей национального контекста. В данной статье впервые обобщаются результаты российских исследований студенческой вовлеченности, на основании которых можно сделать выводы о применимости подхода в отечественной системе высшего образования. Кроме того, в работе представлены выводы о возможностях сопоставления результатов измерения студенческой вовлеченности между университетами и странами в разные периоды времени. В заключении даются практические рекомендации использования подхода для решения разных университетских задач. Статья будет полезна руководителям вузов для выстраивания эффективной образовательной политики, преподавателям – для развития преподавательских практик и совершенствования работы со студентами, исследователям – для ознакомления с ландшафтом работ о студенческой вовлеченности и поиска перспективного направления для будущих исследований.
