Рассматриваются цели и итоги реализации программы, определяются успешные управленческие подходы к интеграции образования и науки. Анализируются пределы и ограничения, накладываемые общими организационно-правовыми условиями на возможность глубокой интеграции образования и науки.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is devoted to the analysis of the experience of the ?Basic Research and Higher Education
Program? that is being implemented jointly by the Russian government and American grant-awarding
foundations. Major program purposes and results are analyzed; successful approaches to program management
and integration of research and education are identified. Limitations and restrictions of current organizational
